When the love of Christ overwhelmed the heart of hip hop artist D-Swagg better known as Dubulous, the change birthed a new song. A prolific composer and lyricist, Dub began to chronicle the journey he made from the darkness of the world he knew, into the freedom and joy that he found in Jesus Christ. Using the beats and music styles that would draw a young audience, he infused his songs with the words of life, and a call to the lost to turn and come to Christ.
Evangelistic from the start, Dubulous began its outreach to the urban areas of Los Angeles and Orange County, then spread across the United States and eventually overseas to Germany, Austria, Brazil, Poland, England, Quebec, Hungry and Israel, bringing the truth of the salvation message through the dynamic energy of Hip Hop, Pop, Dubstep and Rock music and relevant lyrics. The band has had many faces and talents in its history – but its purpose and direction has never changed: proclaim the love of Christ and the salvation He holds out to all.
Currently, Dubulous members are Dub, who is producer, singer songwriter. E-Liz-A-Mix, is a bilingual vocalist, and guitarist. Peter, guitar. Manny synths and vocals. Aaron on Bass GTR and Parker rocking the drums. Dub has been the worship leader at Calvary Chapel of the Harbour in Sunset Beach since 2004. E-Liz-A-Mix currently serves as a worship leader. The rest of the band members serve as worship leaders in their churches.
